Founded by ex-elite rugby conditioning coach Marcus Hale, Atlas Performance exists for one reason: to get hybrid athletes to the start line prepared, and across it faster than they thought possible.

We don't sell motivation. We sell structure — progressive overload, intelligent deloads, and honest feedback when your ego wants to push through a niggle that'll cost you six weeks.

Before you apply

Do I need to be fit before starting?

You need a base level of training consistency — ideally training 3–4 times per week already. We don't take complete beginners for 1:1 coaching, but our HYROX block includes a preparatory phase for athletes new to hybrid racing.

What equipment do I need at home?

Minimum: access to a commercial gym with rower, ski erg, and sled. For HYROX prep, we recommend at least one session per week on race-specific equipment. Sydney locals can use our Alexandria facility for camp members.

How does the application process work?

Can I pause my coaching if I get injured?

Yes. We switch to rehab-focused programming where appropriate and pause billing after two weeks. Our priority is getting you back to full capacity, not collecting fees while you can't train.

Do you offer nutrition coaching?

Basic fuelling guidance is included in all programs. Full macro tracking and meal planning is available as an add-on ($85/week) with our in-house sports nutritionist.
